Christelle Glaphira Daceus

Studies and career with research and skills focused on developmental, organizational, and educational psychology, culturally-informed digital accessibility, inclusive online learning and institutional and instructor development.

I have worked as a preschool and elementary school teacher, a music education specialist, a director of a private music school, a traveling performer and artistic director of multiple theater companies, and, served as a virtual arts instructor and instructional design consultant for a non-profit, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Centers. Now, I design multimedia tools and recourses, build digital learning tools, program, and develop professional development for faculty and staff and implement UDL practices and guidelines within course design and planning as a Course Design Specialist at Johns Hopkins University. This experience added to an over a decade-long career in education, in partnership with my course experiences, and participation in student advocacy and educational justice, secured my need to do work that made amazing learning experiences for all students.
